CHRISTMAS GIFT ~ Essence Atkins and her husband Jaime Mendez received the best present — a new baby.

“Found [happiness] … our 1st baby, a beautiful healthy boy, was born on Christmas Day! #blessing,” the Are We There Yet? actor Tweeted.

It’s the first child for the couple, who were married in September 2009.
