Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick Babies

UPDATE ~ In a statement released to Us Magazine, the names and birth details of the babies were released; "Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick weighed 5 lbs., 11 oz., and Tabitha Hodge Broderick weighed 6 pounds," the statement continues. "Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side."
"The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon," the statement concludes.

GIRLS IN THE CITY ~ Several media outlets in Ohio are reporting that Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's twin girls have arrived via a surrogate.

The couple have been married since 1997 and are parents to 6 year-old James Wilkie.

Parker is filming Did You Hear About the Morgans? a romantic comedy costarring Hugh Grant, and plans to star and produce in a sequel to her 2008 hit Sex and the City, a movie version of the hit television series of the same name. Broderick's latest film, the drama Wonderful World, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and he's currently starring on Broadway in The Philanthropist.

Ana Ortiz Baby

IT A GIRL ~ Ana Ortiz is a proud new mom! The Ugly Betty star and her musician husband, musician Noah Lebenzon welcomed Paloma Louise on June 27, 2009 in New York City. The baby girl weighed 7lbs., 10 oz.

"She is elated and completely glowing," said Ortiz's rep to People magazine. "She is surrounded by her friends and family and so happy to be a mom. She is just really enjoying the moment. The baby is absolutely beautiful."

Ortiz plays Betty's sister Hilda on Ugly Betty.

Rachel Griffiths Baby

BROTHER & SISTERS ~ The adorable and talented Rachel Griffiths has delivered her third chid and it's a girl. Rachel, her husband Andrew Taylor, son Banjo (named for Australian poet Andrew Barton "Banjo" Paterson) and daughter Adelaide Rose welcomed their new addition.

Griffiths currently portrays Sarah Whedon on Brothers & Sisters and was on the award winning show Six Feet Under.

Carnie Wilson Baby

BELLA OF THE BALL ~ Life & Style has learned exclusively that Carnie Wilson delivered a healthy baby girl on June 12, 2009. Luciana Bella arrived at 5:07 PM and weighed 6 lbs., 5 oz and was 19 inches long at birth.

This is the couple's second child; daughter Lola Sophia is 4. Carnie's husband is musician Rob Bonfiglio.

Carnie is part of the pop trio Wilson Phillips and daughter of legendary musician and Beach Boy founder Brian Wilson. Carnie's younger sister Wendy and childhood friend Chynna Phillips make up Wilson Phillips.

Madonna To Adopt

UPDATE ~ People is reporting that Madonna has legally won the right to adopt a daughter from Malawi. Madonna's Malawi lawyer said the pop icon stayed up throughout the night hoping for a courtroom victory. "It's the early hours in New York now but my client has been awake all night waiting for this." The ruling was made official around 2 a.m. her time Friday. "She was ecstatic when I broke the news to her. She said, 'Thank heavens.' "

April 3, 2009 ~ The Associated Press is reporting that Madonna's application for adoption has been denied.

March 29, 2009 6:02 pm ~ Madonna is due in court this Friday as part of her ongoing quest to adopt another child. Reporters were told by Court Registrar James Chigona that Esme Chombo will consider whether to grant Madonna a temporary custody order to allow her to take 3-year-old Mercy out of the country. Chinula also says that Madonna's split from her husband will not affect her chances as "Malawi laws do not say single parents cannot adopt," he said. Mercy's teenage mother, Mwandida Maunde, died at age 18 in 2006.

Madonna and her family have used the trip to help her son David to explore his roots. Sources tell People that Madonna is expected to take her children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 8, and David, 3, to the Home of Hope orphanage in the border district of Mchinji for her adopted son's reunion with the orphanage where the singer found him in 2006. She also took her children's to David's ancestral village of Lipunga, where they visited Consol Homes, a school run on Kabalah teachings. "I am impressed with what you are doing here," Madonna told the staff at the school.

Hank Azaria & Katie Wright Baby

NIGHT AT THE NURSERY ~ It's a boy for Hank Azaria and his girlfriend Katie Wright. Hal arrived on June 6, 2009 ~ a bit early but Hank's rep tells People magazine that; "He was premature but he's healthy and strong. Everyone is very happy."

This is the first child for the couple who have been dating for over two years. Wright is a former actress and is now studying to be a family therapist.

Azaria's next project is Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.

Kelly Rutherford Baby

GOSSIP GIRL ~ A rep for Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford confirms to Life & Style exclusively that Kelly has delivered a baby girl on June 8, 2009. Helena Grace was born in Los Angeles and weighed in at 8 lbs., 12 oz/. "Kelly and the baby are doing just fine," the rep tells Life & Style.

This is the second child for Kelly and her ex-husband Daniel Giersch, they are also parents to two-year-old son, Hermes.

Rutherford, 40, plays Blake Lively's mother Lilly van Der Woodsen on Gossip Girl.

Anna Hansen & Lance Armstrong Baby

4th BABY FOR CYCLIST ~ According to Lance Armstrong's Twitter page he is a father again. His girlfriend, Anna Hansen delivered a baby boy on June 4, 2009. Maxwell Edward weighed 7 lbs., 5 oz and was 20 inches long.

The couple met at a non-profit through Lance's charity for cancer survivors and have been dating since last July.

Armstrong has three children; Luke, 9 and twins Isabella and Grace, 7, with his ex-wife Kristin. The children were conceived through in vitro fertilization with sperm frozen prior to Armstrong undergoing chemotherapy. Armstrong battled testicular cancer in the '90s.
