Carmen Rasmusen Baby


SINGING LULLABYS ~ In better late than never news, season two American Idol contestant Carmen Rasmusen and her husband Brad Herbert are parents. EW.com has a feature on past contestants and mentions that son Boston is the project she is focusing on at the moment.

Boston's due date was Christmas Eve and Carmen had announced to a group of fans at an event that she is expecting her first child.

Carmen was born in Edmonton, Alberta and has been performing since the age of 5. She has gone on to release two albums since American Idol.

Linzi & Billy Martin Baby

GOOD BOY ~ Billy Martin, guitarist for Good Charlotte and his hairstylist wife Linzi are first time parents they exclusively tell People. Dreavyn Kingslee was born on January 26th in Pasadena, California.

Martin tells the magazine; "Mom is doing great, baby is healthy, I couldn't ask for anything more." Adds Martin: "It is hands down the most amazing thing that has ever happened in my life. We can see so much of my wife and I in him already!"

The couple will celebrate their first wedding anniversary – and ninth year as a couple – on March 1.

Martin is also an accomplished painter and illustrator with his own T-shirt line, Level 27. Good Charlotte also has a new album coming out and he is also the author and illustrator of a children's book called Damious McDreary: A Boy and his Bat, which will be released this fall.

Amy is best known for portraying Sandy Louise Harling on Melrose Place. She also starred on the big screen in School Ties and Cry-Baby with Johnny Depp.

Anel Lopez & Christopher Gorham Baby


FIRST LADY ~ Christopher Gorham and his wife Anel have welcomed their third child, they confirm to People exclusively. "She's perfect," Gorham says of his new daughter. Alondra Cecilia arrived on January 10th, 2009. This is the third child for the couple who are also parents to Lucas and Ethan.

Gorham played Henry on the series Ugly Betty, which is experiencing a baby boom; Eric Mabius and wife Ivy just had their second child this past fall, while Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell welcomed twin girls and Ana Ortiz just announced she's expecting.

Christopher and Anel, who were college sweethearts, formerly appeared together on Popular; Christopher as Harrison, and Anel as Poppy. Christopher's next project is Harper's Island.

Charlotte Church Baby


UPDATE ~ Gavin and Charlotte have chosen the name Dexter for their new baby boy. In keeping with Henson family tradition, Dexter will also have the name Lloyd as a middle name.

RUBY'S BROTHER ~ Singer Charlotte Church and rugby star Gavin Henson welcomed their second child together. The 7lb., 5 oz. baby boy arrived on January 11th, 2009 just after midnight at their home in south Wales she announced on her web site. "Mum and baby are both doing just fine," read the statement.

The couple are already parents to daughter Ruby (she arrived last September).

The Wales-born singer was first discovered on a British talent show – initially as a classical singer, before she made a name for herself in pop.

Dolores Fonzi & Gael Garcia Bernal Baby


BOY FOR ACTING COUPLE ~ Gael Garcia Bernal and Argentinean actress Dolores Fonzi welcomed their first child. The baby boy was born in Madrid on January 8th, 2009 Us Magazine reports.

The couple finally confirmed pregnancy news in a statement to the Associated press back in August. "This statement is to say that, after so much speculation and comments, the actors ... are indeed expecting a baby at the start of next year," Garcia Bernal's production company, Canana Films, said in a statement.

The two met while filming Vidas Privadas.

Lisa Bonet & Jason Momoa Baby

A BOY FOR BONET ~ Life On Mars star Lisa Bonet and her boyfriend Jason Momoa are parents again. Lisa who has changed her name to Lilakoi Moon delivered a baby boy named Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha reports Jason's website.


Lilakoi has a daughter Zoe, 20, with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz and a daughter Lola, 20 months, with Momoa of Stargate: Atlantis fame.

The name was always going to be Nakoa-Wolf, but Jason did the research on first middle name, 2nd middle name as you know is Jason's.

In 1984, Bonet landed the role of Denise Huxtable on The Cosby Show and went on to play a college freshman student on the series A Different World. She has appeared on the big screen in the racy film Angel Heart, Enemy of the State with Will Smith and High Fidelity with John Cusack.

Jason is a model (he has walked the runway for Louis Vuitton) and an actor; he has appeared on Baywatch, North Shore and currently plays Ronon Dex on Stargate Atlantis.

Kimberly Wallis Licht & Jeremy Licht Baby

EARLY ARRIVAL LATE IN THE YEAR ~ Jeremy Licht and his wife Kimberly Wallis Licht welcomed their daughter New Year's Eve, he tells People exclusively. Jordan Zoey couldn't wait to join the party and was born 5½ weeks early at 10:59 p.m. on December 31st, 2008. "We were planning to go to a New Year's Eve party when my wife started having contractions," Licht tells People. "I'm thrilled – shocked that it was this soon, but thrilled. Everybody's healthy, and it really was an incredible experience." Baby Jordan weighed 4 lbs., 10 oz. and was 18½ inches long.

Licht starred as Jason Bateman's brainy brother on the 80s sitcom The Hogan Family. Wallis Licht is also an actress that has appeared on episodes of CSI: NY and Charmed and plans to continue acting once she's a mom.

The couple met on a Jewish online dating site in 2005 and married over Memorial Day weekend in 2007. It's the second marriage and first child for both of them.

Rebecca Romijn & Jerry O'Connell Babies


FRATERNAL DELIVERY ~ Rebecca Romijn and husband Jerry O'Connell's twins are here. Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip were born on December 28th, 2008 her rep tells Us Magazine. "Mother, father and both girls are all home and doing well," says her rep.

The news was first announced by Howard Stern on his Sirius radio show this morning. "They had twin girls, Dolly and Charlie," Stern said. "Rebecca likes Dolly Parton, so they named the one after Dolly Parton, and Jerry got to name the other one Charlie, but his brother’s name is Charlie -- and it’s a girl Charlie."

Romijn also revealed that the twins were conceived without the help of in vitro fertilization or the fertility drug Clomid. "A year ago, we tried Clomid for a couple of months unsuccessfully," Romijn said. "But by the second month, I was like, 'Ahhh! I hate this!' I think when you start messing with your own hormones, it's crazy-making."

Romijn was in a few episodes of Ugly Betty this season and O'Connell was on the short lived Fox sitcom Do Not Disturb.

The couple have been married since last July.
