May 14th, 2008 ~ U.S. Olympic skater Nancy Kerrigan and husband Jerry Solomon welcomed their third child on May 14th, 2008. The couple confirms the news and that it's their first daughter to People magazine. The baby girl has yet to be named but she weighed in at 6 lbs., 12 oz. and arrived in Winchester, Massachusetts. "All went well. Everyone is fine," says the dad, who's been told "there is nothing like the relationship between a dad and a daughter. So it should be fun." As for what to call the little girl, "I think that is the hardest job, to pick a name for somebody," says Kerrigan. "We are not very good at that."

Nancy told People back in January about her pregnancy. Kerrigan suffered six miscarriages over eight years while trying to conceive her second child, 3 year old Brian (they are also parents to 11 year old Matthew).

Kerrigan is a two-time Olympic medalist in figure skating and the 1993 U.S. champion. Nancy was headline news when on January 6th, 1994 she was clubbed in the knee, the assailant was hired by rival Tonya Harding's ex husband and friend. A month after the attack, Kerrigan skated her way to a silver medal at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer. She has since retired. Kerrigan created The Nancy Kerrigan Foundation to raise awareness and support for the vision impaired. Kerrigan's mother, Brenda, is legally blind.

Solomon is President and CEO of StarGames, a sports marketing and entertainment company.
