David Alan Grier Baby

UPDATE ~ People has an update; Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim – Danbi means "sweet rain" in Korean – was 7 lbs., 6 oz and 20 inches long. She was born at 1:04 p.m. January 11th, 2008 by planned C-section. "She's amazing. Her looks evolve every moment, and she looks like me and David," Kim told People after delivering the couple's first child, surrounded by family members in the delivery room. "I'm feeling euphoric, and David is ecstatic. He's the perfect proud father."

7:50 p.m. ~ The couple confirmed the news with People; "We're doing well," a tired Kim said from her hospital room after delivering the couple's first child. They had not yet picked out a name, she said.

FUNNY DADDY ~ It’s a busy night at L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center! Not only did Nicole Richie go into labour and possibly Christina Aguilera, but Courtney Thorne-Smith and David Alan Grier had their babies today (January 11th, 2008). David and his wife Christine Y. Kim have welcomed a baby girl this evening. “Yes, it’s a girl!” Grier told Us magazine. No other details were made available at this time.

Grier and Kim, the Associate Curator of the Studio Museum in Harlem, wed last July 2007 and live in New York and Los Angeles.
