Christina Aguilera Delivery

COME ON OVER BABY ~ Finally, a People exlcusive; Christina Aguilera and her husband, Jordan Bratman, welcomed a baby boy on Saturday at 10:05 p.m. "Christina and Jordan are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy!" a rep for the couple tells PEOPLE. "Mom is resting and doing well!" Despite various media reports that Aguilera had her baby on Friday, Max – 6 lbs., 2 oz. and 20.5 inches – arrived late on Saturday night in L.A.

Aguilera rose to fame along side Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Rhona Bennett, Ryan Gosling, Britney Spears and Keri Russell on the Disney Channel variety show The New Mickey Mouse Club. At the age of fourteen, Aguilera recorded her first song, "All I Wanna Do", a hit duet with Japanese singer Keizo Nakanishi. In 1998, after proving she could sing the High "E" in full voice she was selected to record the song "Reflection" for the Disney movie Mulan. This led to a recording contract with RCA Records. She released her successful self titled debut album in 1999 which yielded 3 number 1 singles. In 2000 she released a Spanish album and was asked to do a duet with Ricky Martin. In 2001, Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya and Pink were chosen to remake Patti LaBelle's 1975 single "Lady Marmalade" for the film Moulin Rouge! The Missy Elliot produced single hit number 1 and earned a Grammy Award. Christina's second full-length English album came out in 2002. Stripped peaked at number 2 on the Billboard charts. The album was influenced by many different subjects and music styles and was very well received by critics. The most successful single from the album was "Beautiful" which also earner the singer another Grammy. A single that wasn't finished in time for the album was "Miss Independent". This song was co-written by Aguilera and ended up being Kelly Clarkson's second single. Aguilera's third English studio album, Back to Basics, was released in 2006 and went #1 in thirteen countries and won her another Grammy.

Aside from her music career, Aguilera has done some tv work; she made a cameo on Beverly Hills 90210 and hosted Saturday Night Live. She has contributed musically to several films. Besides Moulin and the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack she sang a song with Missy Elliot for the soundtrack of Shark Tale. She has also released her own signature fragrance with it's packaging and bottle is inspired by 1930's Hollywood glamour.

In 2002, began dating music marketing executive Jordan Bratman. Their engagement was announced in February of 2005 and the couple tied the knot that November.
