IT'S A GOOD STORY ~ People.com is reporting that "Dharma's a mama!" Jenna and Bodhi Elfman welcomed their first child, a son. Story Elias was born on July 23rd in Los Angeles. Story was 7 lbs, 2 oz is already a fan of "classical music, a clean diaper, mom's boobs and long naps," Elfman's publicist, Jenni Weinman, tells PEOPLE. She says "Story wants to give big props to his mom for all the hard work."

Jenna and Bodhi are both actors. Jenna was on the hit TV series Dharma & Greg in which she won an Emmy for her role of Dharma, the free spirited wife of assistant DA Greg Montgomery (Thomas Gibson). She was also in the short lived series Courting Alex and was most recently seen on last years hit series Brothers & Sisters which reunited her with her on-screen mother-in-law from Dharma & Greg, Susan Sullivan.

This is the first child for the couple who have been married since 1995

MINNESOTA LYNX HAVE A NEW FAN ~ WNBA player Vanessa Hayden and her husband Brian Johnson are being congratulated on her team's website, Minnesota Lynx.com on the arrival of their first child, Zyon Brianna Johnson, back on June 3rd at 6 a.m.

The couple have been married since November 2002.

PREMATURE DELIVERY ~ The MLB site is reporting that Mike Jacobs, the Florida Marlins first baseman, received word that his wife, Vanessa, was about to go into labour. The couple's twins were due early September but the baby girls made their arrival on the evening of July 28th. Mike, the Florida Marlins first baseman was in San Francisco this past weekend for a series against the Giants. He boarded a flight immediately after the game. According to the site, Jacobs text messaged manager Fredi Gonzalez from his home in South Florida to say his wife and newborns were fine. There were no other details released.

Sharon Corr Baby

NEW CORRS BAND MEMBER ~ The Corrs website has an announcement that Sharon and her husband Gavin are parents. Flori Jean Elizabeth was born on July 18th and "Both mum and baby are doing great and everyone is absolutely delighted with the arrival of baby Flori. Thanks to everyone for all their best wishes and messages of congratulations."

Sharon is a member of the Irish pop-rock band The Corrs. She plays violin and sings backing vocals. In 2001 she married a barrister from Belfast, Gavin Bonnar. The couple met while Sharon was shooting the video for The Corrs first single Runaway. This is the second child for the couple, son Cathal Robert Gerard was born March of 2006.

"Hi friends, we have a new member of the Sara Groves band: Ruby Cate Groves was born on July 13th at 1:12pm. She is a healthy 7 lbs, 1oz, 21 inch long sweetheart. Kimberly Roads Baby

BABY ON BOARD ~ According to the LBT Website, Kimberly Roads of the country group Little Big Town and her husband Stephen Schlapman became parents on the road as their baby girl decided to arrive 3 weeks early. Daisy Pearl made her debut in Phoenix, Arizona on the evening of July 27th after the band performed there the night before. The baby girl weighed 6 lbs, 10 oz and is 18 " long.

"I guess we really DO do everything together" said an exhausted but overjoyed Roads, "Sweet Little Daisy Pearl wasn't due for another three weeks, but it seems life on the road is jut too exciting to be missed."

Her bandmates accompanied the couple to the hospital before leaving for their next stop in Vegas.

The last leg of the tour will bring them to their final show in Boise, Idaho on August 5th. The band will then return into the studio to finish working on their sophomore CD which is slotted for release this fall.

IT'S A BACHELOR ~ An US Magazine exclusive; 'Bachelorette' Trista Sutter gave birth around 8:30 p.m. on July 26th via c-section. Maxwell Alston made his arrival 4 weeks early due to pregnancy complications and weighed in at 5 lbs, 2 oz. Trista tells US; "He's perfect and beautiful, and everyone's doing great."

The couple disclosed their pregnancy to People Magazine in February 2007. "We are so happy after two years of trying," Trista says.

Trista Rehn is a former Miami Heat dancer/cheerleader. Besides appearing on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, Trista has also been on other reality TV shows; Fear Factor and was the first contestant voted off Dancing With the Stars. Sutter also appears opposite actor Jason Alexander in an ad for KFC and was in Brad Paisley's music video for the song "Celebrity". Trista is a designer and spokesperson for B's Purses.

Ryan Sutter is a firefighter and hails from Colorado. He has played football for the University of Colorado and has also modeled. In 2004 he competed in the Ironman Triathlon in Kona, Hawaii. He is also the founder of Sol Organics, an Environmental Strategies Company.

This is the first child for the couple who reside in Vail, Colorado. The couple met on the reality TV series The Bachelorette in 2002. Trista was a previous runner-up on The Bachelor. NAOMI & LIEV ARE PARENTS ~ Life & Style broke the news that Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are parents. The baby arrived at 3:59 p.m., July 26th in Los Angeles.

The couple planned to keep the baby's sex a surprise. According to the Life & Style source; "This is a dream come true for both of them and they've done everything in their power to make it as special as possible, right down to staying in the dark about the baby's sex right up until Naomi gave birth."

US Magazine is reporting that the baby is a boy and his name is Alexander Pete. Baby Alexander weighed 8lb, 4oz, and is 22 1/2 inches long. Watts’ rep tells Us, “The parents are ecstatic, and both mom and baby are doing great.” The middle name was inspired by Naomi's late father. People.com is reporting that the middle name is Pete, not Peter.

The couple had an intimate baby shower at their home last weekend with 15 close friends. Among the reported guests were Kate Hudson and Carla Gugino.

This is the first child for the couple who have been together for two years. News of the baby was announced this past February when Liev appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. They appeared on the big screen together in the 2006 flick The Painted Veil. Schreiber will soon be seen in the comedy The Ten.

THE "BEAN" HAS ARRIVED ~ According to Romaine's official blog, Romaine Patterson (American gay rights activist, author and co-host of the talk show Derek and Romaine) and her partner Iris welcomed their first child on July 20th. Romaine Katherine arrived at 4:57 p.m. via c-section and weighed 10 lbs, 7 oz and was 21.5 inches long.

Romain blogs; "That's right, Romaine has pushed and the child is born. Send the wisemen bearing gifts, tell the sheep and cows to move over, there is no more room at Patterson Inn and the dogstar is beaming with pride!" She also says; "Help celebrate the birth with a donation to The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation." She provides a link to the site and tells her readers to select "IN HONOR OF Romaine Patterson."

Patterson can be heard on the Derek & Romaine Show on Sirius Satellite Radio's OutQ stream (109). She's also written a book about her experiences as an activist since Shepard's death, called The Whole World Was Watching. Actor Christina Ricci portrayed Romaine in the movie The Laramie Project.

KIWI DELIVERY ~ Model Kylie Bax and her photographer husband Spiros Poros, introduce their latest addition in this weeks issue of New Zealand's Woman's Day magazine. The new arrival Dione Nefeli is pictured with her big sister, 2 1/2 year old Lito. Dione also joins big brother Aris who is 3 years old from Spiros' previous relationship.

The article talks about her quick labour and delivery; five days before her due date, Kylie was at a prenatal check up and her doctor said she was 4 cm dilated. She was instructed to go home until contractions started so she did and made lunch for the kids, then the family went out to make a last minute purchase. While they were out buying a car seat, contractions started and the family rushed back home. Kylie told the magazine; "I took a quick two-second shower and my water broke. As soon as my water broke, my contractions were excruciating. I said to Spiros, 'Quick, let's go!' then got in the car and was waiting around wondering where he was. I ended up calling him on his cellphone from the garage, going, 'Would you get down here now, I'm a woman in pain!" The couple share more of their story. On the way to the hospital, they hit every red light! When they finally made it to the hospital, Kylie was 9 cm dilated. "I was only there for 10 minutes. I was begging for an epidural and the gave me one, but by the time it kicked in I had already had the baby. I was the talk of the hospital. Everyone was saying, 'You're the women who arrived and practically gave birth in the lobby!'"

Spiros adds that the baby looks "just like Kylie...like a Kiwi, dammit!" Kylie is a native of New Zealand while Spiros is from Greece.

Kylie is a supermodel and actor. She was a former girlfriend of Tommy Lee. The couple married in Delos, Greece. Following the ceremony, they had their daughter Lito baptized, she was 11 months old. Spiros is a self-taught photographer who has worked for several major publications.

Cillian Murphy Baby

YOU BE THE JUDGE ~ Photos from ONTD has raised speculation that actor Cillian Murphy and his wife Yvonne have recently had a second child as it appears in the photographs that although she is pushing an empty stroller, it looks like she has some sort of baby snuggly/bjorn carrier on.

This would be the second child for the couple, they have a 19 month old son Malachy.

Cillian has played opposite some of the loveliest actors of late; was in Girl With a Peal Earring with Scarlett Johansson and Red Eye with Canadian actor Rachel McAdams. He was also in the blockbuster Batman Begins as Batman's arch-nemesis Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow. UPDATE ~ US Magazine has the couple on their cover this week with a feature on Hollywood's Sexiest Dads. The couple talk about how parenthood got off to a bumpy start the first night at home with Ava Veronica; "she cried all night," Priestley tells Us Weekly. "We came home from the hospital and were like, 'Is this what it is like?'" It seems as though Ava has adjusted; "She is very mellow," Naomi gushes.

Jason Priestley's rep, Marla Farrell, exclusively confirms to Usmagazine.com that the Canadian actor and his wife Naomi are the "ecstatic new parents of a baby girl." This is the first child for the couple.

Priestley's 90210 co-stars Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Tori Spelling and Tiffani Theissan were amongst the guests at the couple's 2005 nuptials. Naomi wore a Rani from St. Pucchi Couture gown and Neil Lane jewellery. At the time, Naomi told Entertainment Tonight of her husband, "I was in love with him the moment I saw him. I was done."

MARY MARY BABY ~ According to VGS&L Entertainment, Teddy & Tina Campbell, (one half of the Grammy Award winning duo Mary Mary) welcomed their second child in Los Angeles. Meela Jane arrived on June 11th, 2007 and is a little sister for Laiah Simone, 3. Tina says; "We may try for one more, and pray it's a boy so Teddy can have his little drummer."

The baby was premature but is "healthy, strong, and a beautiful addition to the ever-growing Campbell Clan." Tina and her sister Erica make up the platinum selling duo and hail from a large family. The girls were born in Inglewood California to a family with nine children.

The group got their start singing publicly in a local church choir. They received their first break in 1998 with a song on the Prince of Egypt soundtrack. In 2000, Mary Mary's platinum debut album, Thankful earned numerous awards including a Grammy for Best Contemporary Gospel Album, three Dove Awards, six Stellar Awards, a Lady of Soul Award, and a Soul Train Award.

BAT BOY ~ A baby announcement on the official NY Yankees site for the Proctor family; "The Yankees will be without the services of right-hander Scott Proctor until Wednesday," Torre said. The reliever flew home to Florida to be with his wife, Carrie, for the birth of the couple's third child. The baby boy, Cooper Liam is the second son for the couple; Camden is 3 and daughter Mary Elizabeth "M.E." 16 months old.

Katie "Jordan" Price Baby

UPDATE ~ Katie "Jordan" Price and Peter Andre have named their baby daughter Princess Tiaamii. Tiaamii (pronounced tee-ah-me) is a combination of the names of their mothers; Andre's mother is Thea and Katie's mother is Amy. Katie spoke to OK! Magazine; "Her name is Princess Tiaamii. Princess because she is our princess and Tiaamii was Pete’s idea because it’s taken from our mums’ names. We’ve put an accent over the first 'a' to make it a bit more exotic and two 'i's at the end just to make it look a bit different. We love it because it’s unique, plus it means something special to us. I’m going to get a tattoo on the back of my neck with a crown and 'Princess' underneath." Andre also said "Katie always loved the name Princess but everyone thought it was a bit over the top. I loved it too but I wanted to name her after both our mums and then I just woke up one morning and thought 'I know! We’ll just put them together!'. If people don’t like it, that’s up to them. We’re really happy and proud." Princess was born 3 weeks ago and it was reported her name was Bunny, this was her nickname until the couple decided on a name. At one time it was also reported that she was going to be called Tinkerbell but Katie decided against it as as too many celebrities have chosen it for their dogs.

According to Katie "Jordan" Price's official website, she has given birth to her and Peter Andre's first daughter. The 6 lb, 13 oz baby girl was born via c-section today, June 29th at 8:49 a.m. in the UK. The couple have 2 sons, Junior who is 2 and Harvey from Katie's previous relationship is 5.

A statement released by the couple says; "Peter Andre and Katie Price are happy to announce the birth of their first daughter. They are absolutely over the moon with the new addition to their family and delighted to have a sister for Harvey and Junior - it is a dream come true! Both Katie and the baby are healthy and happy, and will be spending the next few days resting in hospital."

Price is a British model, television personality, magazine columnist and author. Peter is a pop singer and the couple met while filming the reality TV series I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here in 2002 and have been married since September 10th, 2005.

BABY FORMULA ONE ~ According to Yahoo News, German Formula One driver Nick Heidfeld and his wife Patricia became second time parents on Saturday, July 21st, 2007. Patricia gave birth to a baby boy, Joda who is their first son, daughter Juni is 2. Nick talks about his dramatic day on Saturday on his blog; becoming a father, qualifying and seeing a colleague taken away on a stretcher. " I wouldn't have complained if the session had been stopped instead of interrupted! First of all because I was third at this stage, and second because I would have been able to fly home half an hour earlier. I can't wait to put my arms around Patricia, Juni, and Joda. Of course I will be back tomorrow morning and am looking forward to my home race."

Alyssa-Jane Cook Baby

AUSSIE BABY ~ Australian actor Alyssa-Jane Cook and her husband Gary Davis welcomed their third child on May 7th, 2007 at Sydney's Mater Hospital. Lucca James Anthony is little brother to Georgia-May 11 and Ruby-May 8. The baby weighed in at 8 lbs, 14 oz and was born on May 7, 2007 at Sydney’s Mater Hospital, weighing 3.7kg and measuring just over 20" long.

Alyssa-Jane shares her birth story with the Australian Women's Day Magazine. Her delivery was not complication free, first she was given the bad news that her obstetrician was on holidays and she’d been assigned to a locum; “It wasn’t an ideal situation but she turned out to be a very competent doctor – especially when we were down to the tin tacks of giving birth and things suddenly started going wrong.” AJ was assisted by birthing partners mom Diane and best friend Alison Gallagher and they could see something was wrong; “I could sense things were wrong. The midwife must have hit some panic button because suddenly in came about six people — including a specialist midwife. The cord was caught round his neck so the doctor had to reach in and try to release it and at that stage she started looking really concerned. Suddenly the umbilical cord split. It was panic stations then and they had to get the baby out quickly so he could breathe on his own.”

Lucca has broken the all girl baby pattern in AJ’s family; “Yes, we’ve broken the curse for now. My mum cried and I think my dad was very chuffed with having a grandson in the family. But we had another birth in the family since Lucca and she was another girl cousin, so maybe our boy was just a fluke!”

The couple discusses their name choice, Gary was given the honour to name their son and chose Lucca after the Tuscan town where the family vacationed last year; “We had been trying to have a baby for three or four years. We had gone down the IVF route and decided not to do it and had almost given up hope. Then we went on a trip to Lucca in Italy, where Alyssa’s mum lives, and had a wonderful time. Not long after returning from that trip Alyssa fell pregnant.”

IN BETTER LATE THAN NEVER NEWS ~ Just Jared has photos of Eddie Cibrian and his wife Brandi Glanville leaving a doctor's office yesterday with their son Mason Edward. The post also says that the couple welcomed a second son on April 7th and is reporting the name as Jake Austin.

The actor previously played Cole Deschanel on soap Sunset Beach but is probably most well known for his role of firefighter Jimmy Doherty on Third Watch. He also had roles on the short lived series Invasion and Vanished. Fans eagerly awaiting his return to the silver screen may have to wait a little longer as it was expected he would be starring in the new ABC series Football Wives (a re-make of the largely successful British drama Footballers Wives) however, it has failed to be picked up for the fall line-up for ABC. They named Ianni after Venita's father. The couple also has a 21 month old son Dimitri who was named after Michael's father. "In keeping with the Greek tradition the boys are named after our parents," he adds.

Can we expect to see the boys lining up for the Reds in years to come? "I wish the father-son rule comes out in our code, then both boys could play. Maybe one could even be captain one day," he says

DEFINITELY IT, MAYBE ~ According to the official site of the Philadelphia Phillies, catcher Rod Barajas and his wife Stacie have welcomed their sixth child. Daughter Aubrielle arrived on late July 17th in Arizona.

Barajas ties his teammates Jamie Moyer (Jamie's children are; sons Dillon James, Hutton Scott and McCabe Joseph and daughters; Timoney Jennifer, Duffy Margaret Joan and Grady Adele) and Jose Mesa (Jose's children are; sons Ralph, Juan Jose, Jesse and Jose Jr. and daughters Yamely and Yenny) as father's of six children. When he was asked if Aubrielle would be his last; "I'm definitely done ... for now," he said. "Never say never. You get to a number and you're like, I can handle one more. Now that we have the six, so we'll see if we can handle one more in the future."

Barajas is one of four siblings and his father was one of thirteen and his mother one of seven. "I had a lot of cousins, and aunts and uncles growing up, so I was always around the big family atmosphere," he said. The couple are parents to Andrew, Bryce, Aunalilia, Rod Jr. and Jace.

BRAVE BABY ~ The Examiner is reporting on a delivery for FOX News Chief White House Correspondent Bret Baier and his wife, Amy. The couple welcomed their son Paul Francis on June 29th, 2007 at 12:34 p.m. and weighed 6 lbs, 12 oz.

Last week, little Paul underwent extensive heart surgery at Children’s National Medical Center. We are happy to report that due to the efforts of Dr. Richard Jonas and the exceptional care Paul received at Children’s, he is on the road to recovery. The Baier family said they are excited to bring him home on Friday.

Bret has been with Fox News since 1998; he was previously the network's Pentagon correspondent. He has also been a guest host for Weekend Live and one of hosts of The Big Story Primetime.

AKI DIARY ENTRY ~ Tampa Bay Devil Rays third baseman Akinori Iwamura shares his thoughts on his first season in the Major Leagues in a weekly blog on devilrays.com under "Aki's Diary". In the ninth installment, he writes of the birth of his son; "The big day finally came over the All-Star break, when my wife, Misaki, and I had our first child, a baby boy, Taiki. We are so fortunate to have had a healthy child; he was born on July 10 and weighed in at seven pounds, three ounces.

Originally we thought that he would be born on the Fourth of July, which would have meant missing some games. I would gladly have missed the games, and the Rays were more than happy to accommodate me if I needed to go, but I'm glad it didn't come to that.

Just having my own baby makes me feel like I have more responsibility than at any time in my life. So my life has changed a great deal. Now the baby comes first. Anything I do, I think about the baby first. It's only a few days after he's born, and as long as he's healthy, I'm happy. Once he starts crawling or walking or picking up baseballs, I'm going to be even happier; that's when I will have even more joy spending time with my son.

I am fortunate in many ways, like having a wife who understands I need to sleep for my job, so she has done the majority of the work when it comes to taking care of our new addition. If Taiki wakes up in the middle of the night, Misaki takes care of him. Right now, it looks like my wife is OK to take care of the baby on her own. She has the energy to do that. But once she becomes tired, I'll help out more. Everybody asks me, so I'll confess: I have not changed a diaper yet. But I have fed him.

While I've felt a great deal of change in my life -- good changes -- with the addition of Taiki, our dog, Nutts, hasn't handled the change so well. I suddenly feel the jealousy from Nutts because of the baby. So my wife is taking care of the baby, and I'm taking care of Nutts."

Grace arrived on July 13th, 2007 in Los Angeles and she weighed 7 lbs, 14 oz and measured 19 inches long. Price told People; "It may sound totally nuts, but I thought the labor and delivery were fun. It was an insane roller-coaster ride and the prize at the end was not to be believed." Megyn joked that when she found out the child was to be born on Friday the 13th "we had an exorcist at the ready. Thank God he wasn't needed. We got lucky."

Besides being on Rules of Engagement, Megyn played Claudia Finnerty on the comedy series Grounded for Life and was on the sitcom Lateline.

The couple have been married since 1999 and it was their wedding that was the destination of her cousin John Kennedy Jr.'s plane when it went down over Aquinnah, Massachusetts.

Raveena and her husband Anil Thadani are also parents to 2 year old Rasha. Both mother and child are reported to be healthy and fine. The families are "overjoyed by arrival of the newborn" but have yet to name the baby.

This is the fourth child for Tandon. She adopted two girls; Pooja and Chhaya as a single mother in the 1990s. She later married Anil Thadani and gave birth to a baby girl, Rasha, in 2005.

The Colorado Rockies player and his wife Jennifer became first time parents on July 10th, the day of the All-Star game. Marina Brice was born in Denver, Colorado and weighed 7 lbs, 8 oz. The Colorado Rockies center fielder says; ‘‘She’s doing so good, she’s so much fun.’’ Unfortunately, the Rockies are heading out for a 10-game road trip tonight, however, the one advantage of the road trip is that at least he will get a good night's sleep.

Daughter Estela made her arrival on July 11th and weighed in at 8 lbs, 2 oz. Their rep tells People; "Mom and baby are doing great" and that the couple are "ecstatically happy" and that "Estela couldn't ask for more wonderful, loving parents."

Ali was Miss Louisiana USA 1996 and Miss USA in 1996. She met Mario Lopez when he emceed the 1998 Miss Teen USA pageant and she was a commentator, the two later became engaged and annulled their marriage 18 days later.

Landry was the former Doritos pitch woman and has most recently appeared in Bella, written, directed and produced by her husband. The film won honors at the Toronto Film Festival. The couple reportedly met at Bible study and have been married since April 2006. The couple tied the knot in Mexico.

UPDATE ~ eTalk exclusive; Canadian songstress Sarah McLachlan and her drummer husband Ashwin Sood welcomed their second daughter on June 22nd, 2007 in Vancouver. eTalk correspondent and Canada's own Smuthound Lainey, broke the news this week (to view the clip, click here, Tuesday's episode).

Taa-Jah (name confirmed by Sarah's publicist) is a little sister for 5 year old India Ann Sushil, 5. Fans were congratulating the couple on Sarah's myspace page.

Sarah was born in Halifax but calls Vancouver home. She has been playing instruments, including the piano and guitars, since the age of 5. She is known for her hauntingly emotional ballads with songs like Angel and I Will Remember You. Sarah is not only a successful songwriter and artist but is responsible for the Lilith Fair Tour, the first all female performer concert tour than ran for 3 successful summers.

McLachlan was awarded the Officer of the Order of Canada in 1999 for her contribution to music and her support of various women's shelters across the country. She is also an avid supporter of the ASPCA and animal rights.

The couple has been married since February of 1997, tying the the knot in Negril, Jamaica.

The 8 lb, 1 oz baby boy arrived on April 26th, 2007 via c-section in Cork, Ireland, 2 days past due. Michael thanked the medical staff at the hospital who assisted with the birth, and said that both he and wife Niamh are "overjoyed" and that "Both mum and baby are doing well. I cannot wait to get Niamh and our baby son home to Castlehyde."

This is the first child for the couple who married in a low-key Catholic ceremony on October 14th, 2006.

Cory Sullivan Baby

DID HE RECEIVE THE CALL? ~ Unconfirmed report; Rockies centre fielder Cory Sullivan and his wife Bresee have welcomed a son. Riley Daniel made his arrival on July 5th at 2:10 a.m. in Denver, Colorado.

The Rockies official site had an article on June 27th as he had received the call to start against the Cubs but was waiting on another call, the one from his wife as she was expecting their first child any moment. "[Rockies' assistant trainer] Scott Gehret usually has my phone during the game, so if anything calls, he's got it," Sullivan said. "My mom is with my wife at all times.
"If she does have the baby today, or whenever it is during the game, I'll just head back [to Denver] and meet the team in Houston. Hopefully, she doesn't have it for four more days, then we'll be at home and it'll work out well."

Cory is an alumni of Wake Forest University and made his major league debut with the Colorado Rockies on April 4th, 2005.

The couple have been married since November of 2006.

IT'S A GIRL ~ According to NU, former Dutch cyclist Leontien Zijlaard-van Moorsel, 37 and her husband Michael have welcomed their first child. Michael announced that his wife became a mother of a healthy daughter and that their little girl is named Indy. Michael also added that it was a tough delivery, but mother and daughter are now doing fine.

van Moorsel started her professional career in the late 1980s and has cycled her way to the top. She has won major races both on the track and on the road. At the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, she won gold medals both on the road (road race and time trial) and on the track (3km pursuit) as well as a silver (Points race). At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she fell in the Penultimate lap and was injured but she managed to win gold (time trial) and bronze (Individual pursuit). After her last race at the Athens Olympics, she retired from cycling.

Spanish actor Paz Vega, and her husband, shoe store and restauranteur Orson Salazar, welcomed a son on May 2nd. The couple have named their son Orson.

Vega won a Goya award for best new actress in 2001 for her role in the film Lucía y el Sexo, and had her Hollywood breakout role in the movie Spanglish with Adam Sandler.

The couple have been married since 2002. They met while vacationing on a Spanish Island.

BMX BABE ~ According to Kase's blog, he is a big brother!!! BMX rider Mark 'Flip' Filipowicz and his wife Pam welcomed another boy on July 5th, 2007 3 weeks early. The endearing blog entry features narration by big brother Kase; "Since my brother came 3 weeks early my Mom and Dad weren't quite ready in the name department. If you have any ideas be sure to let us know. Mom says the name should be original and Dad says it needs to be something that won't get him beat up at school. (Insert cool first name here) Filipowicz will have to be in the nursery for a few days since he left the c-section too early. The doctors just want to keep an eye on him. He has blond hair!" Along with the posting are pictures of the happy family.

BACKSTREET'S NEWEST BOY ~ According to Kevin Richarson's myspace profile, he and his wife Kristin are the proud parents of a baby boy. Mason made his arrival on July 3rd. Kevin writes; "We are officially parents... At 4:56 a.m. Tuesday morning (7/3/07), our son Mason made his entrance into the world. He is a healthy 8 lbs. 2 ounces / 20.5 inches long and has a head full of dark hair. He and Kristin are perfect and I am a new man. Thank you for your positive vibes and prayers.

Kevin was the oldest member of boy-band group The Backstreet Boys. His cousin Brian Littrell (also a father, son named Baylee) was also in the band. Kristin who is an actor and former Rockette are the founders of an environment organization 'Just Within Reach' (JWR was also the initials of Kevin's late father).

Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren welcomed a daughter yesterday, June 18th. Sam Alexis made her arrival less than 24 hours after her dad finished second in the U.S. Open. The announcement was made on his official site. "Both Elin and Sam are doing well and resting peacefully," Woods wrote. "We want to thank our doctors and the hospital staff for all their dedicated and hard work. This is truly a special time in our lives and we look forward to introducing Sam to our family and friends over the next few weeks. We thank everyone for their well wishes and continued respect of our privacy." Woods announced the couple's expectancy on his 31st birthday last December, saying, "I have always wanted to be a dad. I just wish my father could be around to share the experience." Sadly, his adoring father, Earl Woods, died earlier in 2006.

Woods and Nordegren, former nanny and Swedish model met at the 2001 British Open. The couple have been married since 2005.

Georgia Grace arrived on June 28th at 8:05 a.m., weighing in at 7 lbs, 4 oz and was 19 inches long. "Gigi" as she will be called is the baby sister of 8 1/2 year old Sophie May and 5 year old Spencer James.

Kelly plays Emily Stewart. Jon got his start on One Life to Live playing Brody Price before landing the role that turned him into a soap star; Holden Snyder on As the World Turns. He departed the show in 1988 for London, England, where he studied at the Shakespeare Academy of Music, Drama and Art. Hensley once again reprised his role on ATWT, until 1995. During this hiatus, he starred in Wounded Heart, Beverly Hills, 90210 and Almost Perfect. He once again has reprised his role on ATWT.
